Bring in the network you already have
Your contacts are scattered across a phone, a few spreadsheets, an alumni sheet, an event list and a stack of visiting cards. Here is how each one gets in.
Excel and CSV
Event attendee lists, alumni sheets, referral lists, membership registers — anything you keep in a spreadsheet.
Save the sheet as CSV, then import it.
Google Contacts
Google exports do not use plain columns: phones and emails arrive as numbered pairs. We read that format directly.
Google Contacts → Export → Google CSV.
Outlook and Apple Contacts
Both export formats import without anything to configure, including the labels on each number.
Export as CSV or vCard, then import.
Your phone's address book
On Android and iPhone, import the contacts already on the device. Read-only: we never change or delete anything in your phone's own contacts.
Organise → Import phone contacts, then allow the permission.
LinkedIn connections
A LinkedIn connections export is a CSV, so it imports like one. Add tags and relationship details afterwards.
LinkedIn → Settings → Get a copy of your data → Connections.
Visiting cards
Point your phone camera at a card. The text is read on the device itself, and you review every field before it is saved.
Mobile app only — the camera is the scanner.
You confirm the columns before anything is saved
Exports from Google, Outlook and Apple are recognised and mapped for you. Every other file — the CRM dump, the register somebody has maintained by hand since 2019 — gets a screen showing which column feeds which field, with a real value from your own file beside each one, because a heading can lie and the data underneath usually cannot.
Columns nothing will import are listed on that same screen. Losing a column is fine; not knowing you lost it is not.

The same person, arriving three times
Import from several places and you will import the same people more than once. Matches are found on phone number, email, name and company — with a guard against the traps, because a shared switchboard number or a family mobile is not evidence that two people are one person.
Nothing merges on its own. You see what matched and why, choose to merge, skip or keep both, and any merge can be undone afterwards with the original records restored.

Importing the same file twice is safe
A second import of a file you have already brought in does not create twins. A row that matches an existing contact fills in what was missing — the number that was not there the first time, the company that has since been added — and leaves everything you have edited alone.

Getting back out is the same one click
Export the whole address book to vCard or CSV whenever you like — both open in Apple Contacts, Google Contacts, Outlook, Excel and Numbers. The account screen also has Download my data, which gives you the complete archive including the relationship history, interactions and follow-ups that a flat spreadsheet cannot hold.
We do not scrape anything, ever. No headless browser pretending to be you on LinkedIn or Facebook, no automated harvesting of profiles. Everything above is a file you exported yourself, a card in your hand, or something you typed.
